My research interest is mainly focused on but not limited to Ecology and managements of parasitic, aquatic, invasive and other agricultural weeds; Epidemiology and managements of field crops, horticultural crops and forest plant diseases of economic importance, Plant-microb interaction, Insect-pathogen interaction; Biology of emerging and re-emerging diseases; Detection and diagnosis of plant diseases, Postharvest-technology and handling of stored products.

Short Profile
Abebe Yilma Tasew is graduated with Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Plant Science from Ambo University (Ethiopia) on June 2016. Soon after graduation he is recruited by Ethiopian Ministry of Education and joined Haramaya University to pursue his postgraduate program in Plant protection/Weed Sciences on October, 2016. After successful completion his graduate studies on June 2018, he affiliated to Injibara University and served 2 and half years as a lecturer and researcher in the College of Agriculture, Food and Climate Sciences Department of Horticulture. Currently, he is attending his PhD study in Plant Pathology at Bahir Dar University. He has acquired remarkable skills in different statistical software like SPSS, STATA, R-software, Meta-analysis, Sigmaplot Genestat, Crop modeling and simulation, Arc GIS and conducting experimental research which are published and available online for readers.
